His business journey began in 1998 while attending technical school, when he launched his first upholstery repair business. He later built a successful corporate career, eventually becoming Head of Sales, before starting over in Canada after his family was displaced by the war in Ukraine.

With more than 18 years of sales, customer service, and leadership experience, Yuriy built Garage Door Ninja from the ground up—working on doors, training technicians, refining systems, and building the team that powers the company today.

Every process, training program, and operational standard used throughout the business was developed through real-world experience and continuous improvement.

But what truly allowed the company to grow was building the right team around the vision — committed people who share the same standards, values, and work ethic.
